Lead substitute

For unleaded operation of older petrol engines

ERC lead substitute enables operation of all older engines with non-hardened valve seats with unleaded fuel.

The Effect

Lead compounds in fuel act as knock suppressors and reduce the wear on valve seats. Due to their design, older engines still partially or completely require leaded petrol. ERC lead substitute replaces the lubricating characteristics of lead compounds in leaded fuels, forms a protective layer on the valve heads and valve seats, and additionally protects against deposits on the valves and spark plugs.

The Result

With admixture of ERC lead substitute, unleaded petrol can also be used in petrol engines which previously had to be operated with leaded carburettor fuel. With ERC lead substitute, any vehicle can be operated with unleaded fuel while the engine can be protected and the impact on the environment can be reduced.
